Biblical Studies!!!

 I just wanted to say sorry to all my readers out there who haven't seen a post from me in quite some time. I have been going through some personal issues over the course of the last few years. But Thank God I'm in a better place, continuing to grow spiritually. I kind of had a downward spiral in the year 2013 after leaving my job in search of better opportunities. I guess you could say I got too confident in my spirituality and almost had the attitude of the Pharisee's. But after much needed discipline from my celestial Father, I am proud to say I'm back and more humble.  How did I do that. Well I got back to the basics of Christianity...........God's Word. I started reading the Bible more open heartedly rather than looking for key points to use in my evangelic mission. The Glory of God is in ME! Hello friends and welcome back to another wonderful edition of Biblical studies.  I am going to discuss a personal revelation that came to me in my mind one day and want to share.  Again by all means I may not be 100% correct but this is how God has touched me and love to receive feedback on what you guys think as well. Today’s discussion….The Glory of God. Now the subject in which I will be speaking, will be only the tip of the iceberg and as I study more I will further indulge into a more detailed account but for now I will go with what I do know.  I have heard a lot in my church lately and all through growing up in the church… ”Glory be to God” or “Does this give Glory to God”   or of course the old Hymn classics such as “To God be the Glory”  and  “Glory to God in the Highest” These are classic sayings and hymns in any church that some may have grown up with.  Now what does the title of this discussion really mean? Hi today we are going to discuss the joys of fasting! Do you know what fasting is all about? Its about connecting yourself with God........think of yourself as a solar powered device.........everyday in order to run you need energy! You must set yourself before the sun or in this case the Son! Then we have the ability to run and go! But in order to keep ourselves going we need to charge ourselves humbly in Jesus. Let his comfort hold us, and feel his presence! So as we further unfold the powers of fasting let us reflect upon the true spirit of the key ingredients to fasting before the Lord! Fasting is a form of sacrafice that we all can do even today! But we have to humble ourselves before Him. You have 3 different kinds of fasts that you can do! The type of fasts that you can do is obviously chosen up to you! And it varies from circumstance to situation depending on the reason you are fasting, the length of time you want to sacrafice to God to show your willingness to bow to his will

Just to keep everyone posted.  I've had a few things come up and now I'm back......I will be posting soon on "Fasting"  so get prepared to have your world rocked..........i say that because when I started learning what fasting really was then it hit me and I've indulged in it more!  Let's just say I'm on a 3 day fast right now for 2 special specific reasons so pray for me on my journey and let's get ready to get closer to God!!! :)

  Hello and sorry for taking some time getting back on here!   I had to do a little research on the subject.
